The BLAST Premier eSports tournament is an annual CS:GO eSports league organized in 2020 by BLAST, one of the leading eSports organizations. Previously, the BLAST Premier Series was divided into 2 seasons: the Spring Series and the Fall Series, each of which lasted about 4 months. In 2025, the BLAST tournament format was redesigned to provide more dynamic and spectacular matches. Vice President of BLAST, Valve and Riot Games Ecosystems, Andrew Haworth noted: “2025 promises to be the most exciting year in BLAST history.”

The BLAST Premier 2026 series continues under the updated format introduced in the 2025 season: competitions are divided into several stages — Bounty, Open, and Rivals — with sequential online qualifiers and LAN finals. In 2026, the series remains one of the largest in competitive CS2, featuring two Bounty tournaments with unique bounty mechanics, two Open tournaments with group stages and playoffs, and two Rivals LAN events with eight top teams. Each event offers substantial prize pools and attracts the world’s best teams, maintaining the dynamic structure established after the 2025 reform.

BLAST Premier is one of the most prestigious and innovative tournaments in the world of esports, which has become a symbol of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Since its launch in 2020, BLAST Premier has significantly changed the landscape of esports events, offering viewers a unique format and an exciting show.
The concept of BLAST Premier emerged from a vision to create an esports tournament that would bring together the world’s top players while delivering an unforgettable experience for its audience. Initially organized by RFRSH Entertainment, the brand later evolved into the independent entity known simply as BLAST. From the outset, the tournament distinguished itself with its vibrant presentation, exceptional broadcast quality, and meticulous organizational approach.
Initially, BLAST Premier was a series of small tournaments with the participation of invited teams. However, in 2021, the format was redesigned to include regular stages, season finals and a world final. The new structure allowed participants to progress through a multi-tiered bracket, ensuring spectacle and tension at every stage.
The World Finals have become the highlight of each year, bringing together teams that have earned their place through regular tournaments or through achievements in other major competitions.
In 2023, a system of regional qualifiers was added, making the tournament accessible to a wider range of participants.
