About the Hungarian Grand Prix

The Hungarian Grand Prix is a Formula 1 World Championship event held at the Hungaroring circuit near Budapest. The first Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix took place in 1986, and the race has remained a regular part of the championship calendar ever since.

Hungaroring is a technical 4.381 km circuit featuring 14 corners and located around 20 km from central Budapest. Its tight and twisty layout makes qualifying performance, tyre management and race strategy particularly important.
