The 2027 Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix will likely be held again at the track near Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. The race is considered one of the most popular and exciting events on the Formula 1 calendar, attracting large crowds, celebrities, and major brands. Exact dates have not yet been announced, but the Miami Grand Prix typically takes place in early May.
Miami Grand Prix auto racing history
The first talks about holding a Formula One auto racing series in Miami began in 2018. Due to difficulties with the construction of the circuit, the race was postponed until 2021. In April 2021, the calendar for the following year's F1 races was announced. Thus, it became known that the Miami Grand Prix will debut in May 2022.
A circuit has been specially designed for the event, which features an infrastructure. And between races, the fences are easily removed. The race distance is 57 laps, the circuit is 5.412 km long and includes 19 corners. Max Verstappen, winner of the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, said about the auto race: "A good race. In the first laps I had problems with warming up the tires but when I managed to do that, I was able to break away immediately".
