The DreamLeague is one of the oldest and most respected Dota 2 tournament series, founded in 2013. Originally a small studio league with arena finals, it eventually became an important part of the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) World Tournament Series.
Since 2023, DreamLeague has been held under the auspices of ESL and in partnership with Gamers8/ Saudi Esports Federation. In addition to prize money, teams compete for EPT ranking points. These points are used to qualify for the Riyadh Masters, one of the biggest Dota 2 tournaments in the world.
Each season brings together the strongest teams from around the world. Besides, the DreamLeague is famous for its cool broadcasts, fair fights and spectacular matches. Moreover, it is watched by millions of fans all over the world.
DreamLeague in 2026
In 2026, DreamLeague continues to be one of the major Dota 2 tournament series within the ESL Pro Tour. Several seasons are held throughout the year, featuring some of the strongest teams from around the world. The tournaments are played online and give teams the opportunity to earn ESL Pro Tour points.
Three DreamLeague seasons are scheduled for 2026. The first two have already taken place, while the third will be the final tournament of the series this year.
Dates and Tournament Format
The DreamLeague calendar for 2026 includes three seasons:
- DreamLeague Season 28 — February 16 – March 1;
- DreamLeague Season 29 — May 13–24;
- DreamLeague Season 30 — December 2–13.
Each season features teams that receive direct invitations or qualify through regional competitions. The tournaments include group stages and playoffs.
History of the Esports Tournament
The first DreamLeague season was held in 2013. Initially, the series was a regional tournament, but over time DreamLeague developed into an international competition featuring leading Dota 2 teams.
Since 2023, DreamLeague has been part of the ESL Pro Tour, which brings together major ESL tournaments and allows teams to earn points throughout the season.

DreamLeague in 2027
