About the Championship
The Club Volleyball World Championship is an annual tournament that brings together the best club teams from around the world. Organized under the auspices of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the tournament is one of the most prestigious events in the world of volleyball. Strictly selected teams compete for the right to be called the best in their sport.
The competition attracts the attention of millions of spectators due to the high intensity of the matches, the participation of star players and the intense battle for the title.
2026 FIVB Men's Club World Championship
The 2026 FIVB Men's Club World Championship will take place from December 15 to 20 in Poland, in the Silesia region. The tournament will bring together eight of the strongest clubs from different continents. The group stage will be held at Arena Katowice and Arena Sosnowiec, while the semifinals and medal matches will take place at Częstochowa Sports Hall.
Eight teams representing Europe, South America, Asia and Africa will compete in the tournament. The participants include reigning world champions Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia from Italy, Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro, Japan's Osaka Bluteon, Poland's Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, and other clubs that earned their spots through continental competitions.
A total of 16 matches will be played during the championship. The teams will begin with the group stage, after which the four best clubs will advance to the playoffs and compete for the medals.
History of the Championship
The FIVB Men's Club World Championship is an international competition featuring leading club teams from different continents. The first edition was held in 1989 in Italy. After a period of irregular scheduling, the tournament became an annual event in 2009.
The main feature of the championship is the participation of winners and leading teams from continental competitions. This brings together top clubs from Europe, South America, Asia and other regions on the same court.
Sada Cruzeiro and Trentino are among the most successful clubs in the history of the tournament, with five titles each. In 2024, Brazilian club Sada Cruzeiro won the championship for the fifth time.

In 2025, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia won the Club World Championship title again. The Italian team won all five of its matches at the tournament. Osaka Bluteon claimed the silver medal, while bronze went to Poland's Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.
2027 FIVB Men's Club World Championship
In 2027, the Men's Club World Championship will once again be held in Poland, in the Silesia region. It will be the second consecutive edition hosted by the country. The exact dates, venues and participating teams will be announced later.
