The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is one of the most exciting and popular competitions in the world of cricket. It is held every 2 years under the auspices of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was held in 2007 in South Africa. At that time, the Indian team snatched victory from Pakistan in the final part of the competition.
Over the course of time, the number of teams has constantly expanded and contracted. From the original 12 teams to the current 20.
The winners of the competition are presented with a trophy, which has been specially designed, made up of silver and rhodium.
Team England are the reigning champions. In 2022, they beat the Pakistan team in the final.
