The VTB United League is a popular annual basketball tournament that brings together clubs from Eastern and Northern Europe. Its main sponsor is VTB Bank.
VTB United League 2026/27
The 2026/27 VTB United League season will start in September 2026. The new season will feature 12 teams. The regular season will be played in two stages, followed by the play-in and playoffs.

The regular season will be played in two stages. During the first stage, all teams will play each other twice, once at home and once away. Following the first stage, the teams will be divided into two groups. The play-in will take place after the second stage, with the eight best teams advancing to the playoffs to compete for the championship title.
VTB United League Super Cup 2026
The 2026 Super Cup will take place from September 17 to 20 at VTB Arena in Moscow. Six teams will participate: CSKA Moscow, UNICS, Lokomotiv Kuban, Zenit, Anadolu Efes and Igokea.
Four Russian clubs received invitations based on their results in the 2025/26 season, while Anadolu Efes and Igokea will represent the international side of the tournament.
Teams Participating in the 2026/27 VTB United League
The 2026/27 VTB United League season will feature 12 teams. The participants include leading Russian clubs as well as teams from other countries. Astana will not participate in the 2026/27 championship.
The teams competing in the new season include:

- UNICS Kazan;
- Zenit Saint Petersburg;
- Lokomotiv Kuban;
- Enisey Krasnoyarsk;
- Uralmash Yekaterinburg;
- Parma Perm;
- Avtodor Saratov;
- Samara;
- MBA-MAI Moscow;
- Pari Nizhny Novgorod;
- one additional team to be determined according to the season regulations.
WINLINE Basket Cup 2026/27
The second edition of the WINLINE Basket Cup will also take place during the 2026/27 season. The tournament will run from October 2026 to March 2027.
Eight teams will be divided into two groups of four. Following the group stage, the best teams will advance to the Final Four, where the cup winner will be determined.

In the 2025/26 season, CSKA Moscow won the VTB United League championship for the third consecutive time. In the final series, the Moscow club defeated UNICS 4–0. The title was CSKA's 13th in VTB United League history.
In the 2024/25 season, CSKA also became champions after defeating Zenit in the final series. In 2023/24, the Moscow club won the title after beating UNICS.
VTB United League 2027/28
The next VTB United League season after the 2026/27 campaign is scheduled for 2027/28. The exact dates, list of participants and full match schedule will be announced later.
